To Katie and her family,

The monstrous injustice that has been done to you is horrific. It terrifies me that this could happen to anyone of us. I can only imagine how much pain and devestation this ordeal has caused you. Please know that there are many, many people who believe in you. I have never met you, and yet I feel compelled to write this letter, to defend you, because it is plain to me that you were wrongfully convicted.

I wish I could offer some comfort to you and your family, something more than these words. You are a courageous and beautiful young woman. It is easy to see how proud your family is to support and defend you. I would like to add my voice to theirs, in support of you, and with the certainty that you should be set free.
